The Target4 Project
The Target4 Project is an initiative of KIRP which integrates Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Early Intervention, Health Education/Risk Reduction and Outreach services in collaboration with Harm Reduction Programs (HRP), Syringe Services Programs (SSPs), and targeted outreach throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The KIRP program has valued our statewide partners for the past 8 years and has appreciated the opportunity to serve our communities throughout the Commonwealth. Due to changes in funding, the KIRP program will end June 30, 2026.
Our team is working on the launch of a new program, The LINK Project, which is designed to improve the health and well-being of Kentuckians at increased risk for HIV and Hepatitis C by deploying community health advocates (CHA) to utilize strategic outreach and testing efforts to identify those at risk and retain them in care. Through increased access, the LINK Project empowers individuals to engage and retain in medical care and enhance health outcomes across Kentucky.
Additional information will be provided as we approach July 1, 2026. Our team can be reached at link.project@uky.edu.
The Target4 team will continue to provide HIV testing opportunities through June 30, 2026.
You will find our calendar of HIV Outreach & Testing events here.
